During my recent business trip to Beccles, I had the pleasure of staying at Swan House, a true gem nestled in this charming market town. From the moment we arrived, Gordon welcomed us warmly, setting the tone for a delightful stay. The room we booked was absolutely stunning; beautifully appointed with characterful features and a decadent comfy bed that provided a perfect night's sleep after long days of exploring. Swan House is ideally situated just a 5-minute walk from the picturesque quayside area, perfect for water enthusiasts, walkers, and wildlife admirers. While the accommodation is room-only, the thoughtful amenities like self-service instant porridge and hot drink facilities made mornings delightful. For those wanting a heartier breakfast, there are numerous cafes nearby. A standout feature for me was the peaceful courtyard balcony, ideal for unwinding with an evening glass of wine, surrounded by the tranquil backdrop that Beccles offers. The attention to detail in the design and cleanliness of the space only added to my appreciation of my stay. I wholeheartedly recommend Swan House as a base for anyone eager to explore the stunning Suffolk heritage coast and the enchanting Norfolk Broads. I look forward to returning!
